Favorite thing about UMHB
One of my favorite things about UMHB is the student life. There are so many ways students can get connected, and there truly is something for everyone. During my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to get plugged in with the Student Organizations Office and some of the many traditions UMHB has to offer. As an Admissions Counselor I love having the opportunity to share the endless possibilities and ways future students can get involved.
I graduated from UMHB in 2017 and loved it so much that I didn’t leave! During my time here, I was involved in University Ambassadors, Easter Pageant, Miss MHB, First Year Council, and Welcome Week. I love exploring new cities, hiking, and lots of coffee. I met my husband TJ here and we got married in 2017. We love traveling and enjoy any chance we can get to have a game night with friends and family.
I am half Cuban, and I’m also known as the health-nut of the office!
I visited UMHB as a junior in high school. After one visit, I knew this was it because of the people, the opportunities, and the campus! I was looking for a Christ-centered university and a place where I could grow. I found nothing short of that here. I wanted community and a place to be a leader and UMHB fostered those desires. I am grateful for my time as a student at UMHB, and now thankful that I get the opportunity to share this place with future students.
